Ratnanagar (Chitwan), March 26: Twenty-one farmers were injured in a road accident at Aaptari of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolis-2 in Chitwan district early this morning.
The bus (Bhe 1 Kha 1793) heading towards Kathmandu from Damak, carrying farmers of Nabajagaran Farmers' Group for tour, met with an accident at 3:40 am after the driver lost control of the bus due to over speed, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
Of the injured, 10 are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital and the remaining 11 are receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, said police.
Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
