FREE Wi-FI in Ratnapark draws visitors

Kathmandu, March 20:  The number of people visiting the Ratnapark has significantly soared with the area connected with the free internet facility.

The park on Saturday witnessed an increased of visitors by almost 200. Hari Sharan KC, Chief of Ratnapark and Ranipokhari  unit, Kathmandu Metropolitan Office said some 1,000 people used to visit the park in a day before Saturday, but this number increased by 200 yesterday.

The park area was connected with Wi-Fi facility on Friday.

The park was reopened from July last year following the rejuvenation after a yearlong closure. A fee needs to be paid to enter the park, including Rs 25 for students and Rs 50 for others. RSS
