NEW DELHI, March 16 :(Xinhua) Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj may meet Pakistani Prime Minister's adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz in Nepal Thursday, sources said Wednesday.
"The meeting is likely to take place on the sidelines of a series of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) meetings in Nepal's resort town of Pokhara," the sources said.
"Both are likely to discuss the delayed foreign secretary-level talks between the two countries, which have been postponed in the wake of the terror attacks on an Indian air base," they added.
Though there has been no official confirmation on the meeting from the Indian side, the sources said the meetings in Pokhara will prepare the ground for the SAARC Summit in Pakistan later this year.
"Aziz is likely to extend to Swaraj Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's formal invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the 19th SAARC Summit in Islamabad," the sources said.
