Pokhara, March 17: Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Pakistani Prime Minister, Sarta Aziz, has extended invitation to Indian Minister for External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, to attending the upcoming SAARC Summit to be held in Pakistan in November.
Mr Aziz extended the invitation during the 37th SAARC Council of Ministers meeting held here. It may be noted that the SAARC Standing Committee has proposed to hold the SAARC Summit in November in every two years. Pakistan is hosting the 19th SAARC Summit.
The Standing Committee meeting has been discussing climate change, natural disaster, health, biological energy, social development, communication technology and others.
Meanwhile, Indian Minister for External Affairs met her Maldivian counterpart on Thursday. Foreign Ministers from all the SAARC-member countries were here to attend the 37th SAARC Council of Ministers meeting. RSS
