Kathmandu, July 29: Nepal Communist Party has demanded the government to intensify the search for those disappearing in floods and landslides taking place across the country of late.
The arrangement of food, shelter and clothes should be made immediately to render relief to flood and landslide victims of the country, said a statement released by the party on Thursday. "We strongly demand the government and other concerned agencies should come up with effective measures to render relief and speed up rehabilitation of disaster survivors", reads the statement.
Stressing the need of collective efforts to combat against the natural calamities, the party has called for the government attention towards coordinating the efforts to that end. RSS
