Court summons authorized trade union leaders

Kathmandu, July 28: The Patan Appellate Court has again summoned Chairperson, three office-bearers and other members of authorized trade union of civil service employees, Nepal Civil Service Employees Union, for discussion over the dispute of their legitimacy.

"The appellate court has summoned us on coming Wednesday", shared Union Chairperson Punya Prasad Dhakal.

The Patan Appellate Court has called members of the Employees Organization including Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Treasurer who represent in the Union to discuss on their legitimacy. The court has also directed them not to carry out any work in their new capacity.

Newly-elected Chairperson of the Association Dhakal informed that the court has called them to discuss on legitimacy.

"We did not send the names to the Union from the Organization within the deadline set by the Election Office", he said, adding that, "A writ was filed at the court for not complying with the Election Office rule. We are summoned to discuss the names sent after the deadline". RSS
