Kathmandu, July 31: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today nominated Maha Laxmi Upadhyay (Dina) to the post of central member of the party.
A statement issued by Chief Secretary at the NC Central Office Kirshna Prasad Poudel said that Upadhyay was appointed the party's central member as per Article 21 of the NC statute. Upadhyay is a lawmaker elected from Makawanpur.
The NC President has so far nominated 10 central members as per the statute which allows him to nominate 21 persons to the central committee of the party. RSS
