County gains pace after consensus government: leader Khand

Kathmandu, March 15: Newly elected central member of the Nepali Congress Balkrishna Khand has said the country would gain pace for the solution of multifarious problems after the formation of national consensus government.

At an interaction in the capital city Tuesday, leader Khand argued that if the largest political party does not lead the government, the government can't be strong.

Similarly, central member Khand said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's imminent visit to China would not reap any benefit to the country.

Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Sadbhavana Party, Mahendra Raya Yadav, seconded leader Khand that the PM's foreign visit without solving national problems including Madhes issues would not bring any profit to the country. He warned that if the Madhesi Front's demands were not met, they would resume agitation after Fagu festival.

Similarly, UCPN (Maoist) Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma said his party had a belief that PM's China visit would help boost two-country relations, and there won't be any agreements against national interest.

He also pointed out a need of forming the national consensus government. RSS
