DAO allows remand to lawmaker Lama for five days

Kathmandu, March 13: The Kathmandu District Administration Office has permitted police for remanding UCPN (Maoist) lawmaker Lyarkyal Lama for five days in possession of bullets.

He was arrested when the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) found 14-round of bullets in the locker of Lama at Durbarmarg branch office of Nepal Investment Bank.

Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ram Krishna Subedi informed that police was allowed investigate into the incident by putting Lama in bar as per the Arms and Ammunition Act-2019 BS. RSS
