Regmi leaves for India

Kathmandu, March 11: Former chairman of the Interim Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi has left for New Delhi, India this morning.

Regmi is scheduled to attend the World Cultural Festival to be organized in the Indian capital.

The festival has been organized on the occasion of 35th Annual General Meeting of The Art of Living, said Regmi's aide Rajendra Prasad Pandey.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the programme at Mayur Bihar, Yamuna Bank, New Delhi, it is learnt. The programme will begin on March 11 and conclude on March 13.

As many as 35,000 artistes from different 155 countries will perform their shows.

Over 3.5 million participants will attend the programme.  As many as 150 artistes will attend the programme from Nepal.

Similarly, the programme is scheduled to be attended by incumbent and former heads of the state and government. RSS
